The Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) has achieved significant milestones in both national and international arenas. Notably, during the 2003 8th All Africa Games held in Abuja, the Nigerian women’s volleyball team clinched the gold medal, while the men’s team secured the silver medal, marking a historic moment for the country in continental competitions.
In domestic leagues, the 2023 Nigeria Men’s Premier League witnessed Offa Volleyball Club emerging as champions, showcasing their dominance throughout the season. On the women’s side, CNS Spikers made a remarkable debut by winning their first-ever league title in the 2023 Nigeria Women’s Premier League, demonstrating exceptional skill and teamwork.
At the administrative level, NVBF President Engineer Musa Nimrod was honored with the Most Supportive Sports Administrator and Icon of Sports Sponsorship in Nigeria award in 2023. This accolade reflects his unwavering commitment to advancing volleyball in the nation.
These accomplishments underscore the NVBF’s dedication to fostering excellence and elevating the profile of volleyball across Nigeria.
